I'm not on Windows. My ASSP thread is around 3GB. MySQL is way less. Maybe a difference in platform.

You probably already scoured the event logs but if not, I'd start there.. This smells like a possible hardware problem (disk?) to me... Just a wild guess.

Hi all,

I hope everyone's healthy and being safe.

I've been getting a warning like:
*Mar-25-20 08:20:12 Warning: Main_Thread is unable to transfer connection to any worker - try again! * periodically for a while now.  It comes in waves, with the warning appearing every 60 (almost exactly) minutes for a couple hours, then it seems to go away. It doesn't seem to start happening mid-day, I've only seen the warnings start after the overnight a rebuild completes.

Nothing's changed configuration wise, loads are about the same as usual.    Restarting ASSP always makes the warnings subside for a couple of days.

The SMTP conections gui recommends 5 workers, I have 6 set.

Often, but not always, the log shows "Saving config" about 40 seconds before the unable to transfer.  Everywhere I looked, I see this with a 40 second or so pause in the logs, I don't know if there's no activity or if it's hung.

It's a windows server with MySQL.  Lots of ram, ASSP using about 1.8gb (grows over time), MySQL about 2gb.  Are those normal numbers?

Any suggestions on what I can look into to see what's making Assp hang?

Thanks, be smart and safe out there!
Ken
