Hi everyone, I am working on a new article for the Wiki that details the processing order of ASSP's filtering functionality. In an effort to broaden the understanding behind how an email is sent and subsequently dealt with by ASSP, I have formatted the article in a way that also details the steps involved in the SMTP transaction itself, such as: IP Connection, SMTP Session Initialization (aka banner msg), Client Initialization (aka HELO/EHLO), and finally the Mail Transaction itself (aka MAIL, RCPT, DATA).
This may seem a bit overly detailed at first, but I think it will help broaden everyones knowledge of exactly what is taking place and where. I have also begun to formulate a plan to document the web interface (which I have begun to create links to in this article). I would appreciate it if everyone could take a look at it, see if it makes sense, and feel free to fill in the gaps that I have not gotten to yet.
