The combined probability score is poorly named. It is not only a combines score of spam/ham, but also of anything else that might have flagged the message as a spam. If any other function of ASSP tagged the message as spam - the combined score is 1. (If you look in the assp.pl code, you will find 40+ instances of $SpamProb=1, where various functions are flagging a message as spam.) The confidence level does not have anything to do with accuracy. It is only an allowance to process a Bayesian spam as-if in Bayesian Test Mode, if its probability score is lower than the confidence level threshold. I've said this a couple of times, a couple of different ways now.
