How does everybody feel about ASSP's ability to delay the greeting? Has this been effective as a deterrent? How can I tell if it causes a connected server to go away? I see the "delayed greeting for" the IP and duration, but always there is a connection after. Is 0.5 seconds too short? What seems to be the best delay time? What is too long?
I am testing 1.2.7(6) with 0.5 seconds with no noticable increase in cpu usage, although this is an off time for us. It is busier during 8-5pm.
