I don't think it will ever cause a server to go away.  The idea is that 
spambots etc will ignore 
the delay and carry on spewing the smtp conversation, but there's no code yet 
(TTBOMK) to 
kill/score/flag when this happens.  (May also depend on how the MTA reacts to 
this slamming.)

Very quiet for my test install as the main connection is out for some time and 
I'm having to use 
POP boxes elsewhere  :((
