this feature was built in for people who use already the flatfile and/or ldap. to use the answer on a recipient check as a check on "mail from" is possible, but would be a major breakdown of the flow - in my view, nothing a proxy should do. If the mailserever does the recipient check he should be capable of checking unknown users for "mail from" too!!!
