Checked that one. Not true on my system. 1) My server had only one NIC in it since it was installed. 2) The DNS settings had never changed since it was installed. 3) I manually went through the registry and found no old DNS settings. It was a possible cause and perhaps it was/is indeed an issue, but it was not the one I had. It was a very stubborn bug that i could never track down fully.
