Banner delay is actually a really neat "protocol".  Taken a step 
further, disconnecting if they do not honor the delay (which all legit 
emailers should do) is another great way to stop spammers.  I used this 
in another email program and it was extremely effective.  If I were to 
guess, I would say it stopped 50%-60% of spammers at the door because 
they want to connect and dump instead of waiting. 

Wonderful work Fritz.  Everyday I'm on this list wondering how you could 
possibly make ASSP more effective and you do it.
