This works for us:

LDAP Login
cn=validuser,cn=Users,DC=ourdomain,DC=com

LDAP Root container
cn=users,dc=ourdomain,dc=com

LDAP Filter for Local Adresses
(|(userprincipalname=EMAILADDRESS)(mail=EMAILADDRESS))

We use MS AD and loaded the user's email address field, on the General tab,
with their [EMAIL PROTECTED] address.

So mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] or [EMAIL PROTECTED] gets through.

Maybe Exchange2k7 has something similar?
