Hello On some server with linux multi proc kernel assp freeze .
assp responds correctly to telnet 127.0.0.1 25 but it does not accept commands , for example QUIT is not accepted . So all assp status monitor scripts (to restart assp in case of crash) are not working because apparently assp is responding on port 25 .... The only way I found to solve the problem is a restart of the server , then the problem solves for days. But after some day it could repeat . I seems to me a memory handling problem due to multi processor kernel . What do you think ?
