Like the other corpus directories, you should not manually manage these folders. ASSP will handle them appropriately. There is a notation about this the forums (watch for wrap problems): http://www.asspsmtp.org/forums/current_public_release_version/errorsspam_limitation-t151.0.html#msg687 As far as the sensitive nature of them, I suppose you can implement whatever folder security you feel is appropriate as long as the security context of the running perl script can also access those directories.
