We get those sporadically as well, timeouts when trying to send through
the SMTP - can keep trying for a minute or two until it works again. No
unusual load on the system, about 10-30 connected smtp sessions. Have
yet to find a solution for it - but we've had it even before 1.3.5 (and
it was even worse then).

AOK, this morning some users started complaining
about timeouts when sending emails (notice that I
mean *LAN* user) tried stopping ASSP and then
restarting it, but after a few seconds it hung again,
opening the web interface took eons, but looking
at the CPU/Network load on the machine revealed
minimal loads so it wasn't due to some "overload"
the only thing I changed early this morning were the
two folders "okmail" and "quarantine" which I set to
"" (null) since I didn't want to keep those mails, but
I suppose that it shouldn't make a difference..
