> Is there a defined upgrade path from the antediluvian version (1.0.9) that I'm running to the latest? I had a copy of 1.2.4 which stated that I could only upgrade from 1.1.1 (?) or later. So I guess the upgrade procedure is likely to be multi-staged. Are all relevant versions available in an archive somewhere?
>> I think your best bet would be to find out the perl module requirements for the latest public stable 1.3.3.8 and then implement 1.3.3.8 on a test box or virtual machine. Then, when you get everything configured the way you want it, port it over to your production machine by copying it (you'll only need to change the IP Address stuff to match your production box once you do this). Make sure your perl installation and modules are the same on both boxes. As far as the version of Perl goes, you'd be safe using the latest version. Also, forgot to mention, on your test box you should have copied your files from the production box to have something to work with. You should be able to reuse your whitelist/redlist files, your spam/notspam folders and your errors/spam and errors/notspam folders. I can't remember what else you can use. It's been a long time since I've used 1.0.9. Regards, Brett ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace.
