Here's what appears to be happening... - Debian boots - clamav-daemon is confirmed running - freshclam.pid is the only file in /var/run/clamav - 1 hour later freshclam updates - Now in /var/run/clamav I see clamd.ctl, clamd.pid and freshclam.pid
It seems like the socket doesn't get created until after freshclam runs. Simple fix: Run freshclam on boot Problem: When I run freshclam from the command line it says it can't lock the database directory /var/lib/clamav Any suggestions?
