Good morning all, Few days back we put 2 ASSP servers in production in (testmode) except for DNSBL not in testmode. And it started filtering out lots of SPAM. :). CPU and Memory utilization was minimal.
I setup the Maximum Sessions (maxSMTPSessions) to 200 on each server and also on the MTA server there is enough connections limit to allow all connections comming from the ASSP servers. On the SMTP Connections screen i can see all the connections live list below 100. Now intermitantly i get the below error when i telnet to port 25 on the assp servers from anywhere. Connecting To xxxxxxxxxxxxxx...Could not open connection to the host, on port 25: Connect failed Sometimes it works and i get the SMTP server prompt. Can anyone explain why this is happening, is there any tuneups or configurations need to be setup somewhere, i need to get the SMTP prompt all the time when i telnet to port 25 on the assp servers.
