My current setup is:

http://www.freeimagehosting.net/uploads/d1f54f8097.png

Some notes to answer potential questions:

ASSP and exchange live on the same server, which only has one internal IP
address.

When passing information from ASSP to/from exchange, which are hosted on the
same server, I use

127.0.0.1 as the IP address.

SSL is properly configured and starts with ASSP.

Mar-01-10 11:22:37 IO::Socket::SSL module version 1.17 installed;

Mar-01-10 11:22:37 Found valid certificate and privat key file - TLS/SSL is
available;

Mar-01-10 11:22:37 Secure SSL sockets installed;

Ports above are confirmed on ASSP restart:

Mar-01-10 11:22:37 Listening for SMTP connections on 25;

Mar-01-10 11:22:37 Listening for SMTP relay connections on 587;

Thanks

Don

Hm.

I still need to get the picture of your set-up.

Can you draw a scheme of your mailflow? (like this:

)
