I've recently re-joined the ranks of consultants:). Having had a rather large,
yet single assp implementation at my last place of business, i'm quite fond of
it. Having had only one mail system to care for also meant that I could get a
little involved in monitoring whitelist requests, spam/notspam error
submissions, etc etc and making tweaks as need be.

My consulting firm has been using GFI (SHIVVVVVVER) as their spam filtering
solution for clients. And it SUCKS. BIG TIME. Even we get viagra spam in our
ticketing system all the time.. just sad. But I digress; My firm is open to
looking at ASSP, which is great, but that means I have to make it look like the
best thing in the world. The biggest part of that, aside from how accurate it
is, means no extra administration overhead on our part. That said, to anyone
who has been implementing assp in such a scenario, i'm interesting in hearing
any insights you may have from your experiences. Obviously, i'll be wading
back through the config options one by one, and adjusting as I think would be
best, however, can't hurt to get info based on other's experiences.

Thanks for any feedback!

-Paul

PS: on a related note, if anyone is using a decent human verification system
for whitelisting, such as captaca, but has integrated it into assp via scripts
or whatever, i'd love to get a hold of your scripts and whatnot :D
