>May-18-13 07:44:05 [Worker_10001] RebuildSpamDB uses DB_File for
temporary
hashes

DB_File is the second choice of the rebuild process - the first choice is
BerkeleyDB if installed and enabled. It may happen that DB_File will not
work.

BerkeleyDB.pm should be version 0.5x
BerkeleyDB engine should be 5.xx

If you are unable to upgrade BerkeleyDB, disable 'useDB4Rebuild'.

rebuild kills assp even with correct perl Re: HELP with ASSP again

I'm not sure what this reply means because there are so many quotes and
re-quotes, it's just a mess.
However, I am assuming you are saying that I need to move from Centos to
say
Fedora for example and that I need to be running
BerkeleyDB version 5.xx.

Looking at the info screen on my assp V2, I am running BerkeleyDB 0.43 /
0.42 so I am missing something here.
Also, you seem to confirm that my Perl version is fine.

Again, not sure as this message is really just a big mess of quotes.

Mike

Hi!

Fedora 20 . . Fedora 18

Centos still usable with Perl >= 5.12 ?
. . .

I ( ubchris ) did have to build a new version of the BerkeleyDB module
because the RHEL version was 4.3 and ASSP needs
at least ( VVM: 5.xx see later Thomas Eckardt May 20, 2013 11:16 )
That was done with cpan and by modifying the config.in files in the build
directory.

. . .
however, I ( schefczyk ) have moved to Ubuntu/Xubuntu for my ASSP server.
I
would prefer RHEL/Centos, but using
Ubuntu/Xubuntu for ASSP is definitively easier.

Hi!

Again ( see P.S. ) :

1) You can sent Yours assp.cfg to me?
==

You simply copy assp.cfg from ASSP v1.X installation to ASSP v2.X ?
Not only sub-set of settings changed from default?
