So, if I got your point, should all trafic (local domains and external domains)
pass through ASSP?
Does ASSP needs to know the local domains traffic? The Zimbra has "Relay MTA
for external delivery" option that will deliver to ASSP only external mails
(thinking on outbound mail).

The main reason I'm asking this is to know what is the best scenario to work
with ASSP.
I mean, do i need to leave all traffic (inbound internal, outbound internal,
inbound external, outbound external domains) passing through ASSP?

Thanks,

Daniel Da Luz.

We have our Zimbra 7.2.6 NE server setup as:

[Inbound]

Internet => ASSP => Zimbra

[Outbound - SMTP] (Seamonkey, Thunderbird, Apple Mail)

Client => ASSP (Port 587, SMTPS) => Zimbra => Internet

[Outbound - Outlook Connector]

Zimbra => ASSP => Zimbra delivery queue => Internet.

[Zimbra Settings (Admin portal)]

Server Settings => MTA => Web mail MTA Hostnames : 10.0.0.10 (Our ASSP
server)
Global Settings => MTA => Web mail MTA Hostnames : 10.0.0.10 (Our ASSP
server)

With this setup, when our Outlook clients send an email, Zimbra will
send it out through ASSP before it hits the Zimbra delivery queue.
