>/usr/share/assp/assp.pl /var/lib/assp/

assp must be installed in a single folder - also assp.pl !

Betreff: [Assp-user] ASSP maxing out CPU

This is what I am talking about, I first saw it when using the schedule
cron module. I am
no longer using that. Then I started seeing it when I would try to rebuild
the spam db
invoked via web interface. Now it keeps happening every few days for no
reason. Tends
to occur over night when there is little to no usage. ASSP is still
functioning but this is
not acceptable. In over 15 years of Linux systems administration. I have
NEVER seen
any application do this on a routine basis.

No errors in assp.log or anything that would make any sense as to why it
is doing this.
Normally this system has VERY low system load and never even hits 1.

200% CPU usage on main process, with each other process at > 40%.

Who knows how long this will last or when it will max out the CPU and
cores. If this
system had 4, 6, or 8 cores they would all be maxed out just the same. I
believe this is
an issue with the multi-threaded version.
