I upgraded to ASSP version 2.5.5(17223) on October 8.
Since that time, files collected in my SPAM folder are limited to around 300 bytes. The NOTSPAM folder is not limited in this way.
Is there anything I can look at? The only other change I made that day was to upgrade ASSP_AFC.
