*DOT NET(C#) Developer*
*Major Job Responsibility:*
- Develop /Maintain the DOTNET(C#) code using designated product
technology architecture and frame works.
- Work effectively with Development Team and broader organization to
develop class models, module design, queries, views, stored procedures,
packages and triggers.
- Work with Integration Team in the development of external system
interfaces.
- Optimize DOTNET code to improve response time and throughput.
- Provides reasonable task and project cost/effort estimates.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
- Ensures timely, effective, and quality delivery of software into
production.
- Skill transfer to in-house resources.
- Establish / Maintain / practice an acceptable working process for all
the tasks in-hand.
- Manage and lead project team members and provide technical design,
coding assistance to the team to accomplish the project deliverables as
planned/scoped.
- Perform Research and Development on newest technical components and
make recommendations to increase productivity and business value of the
applications.
- Provide Level-2 support for Production users.
- Provide active support development administrator in source control /
version build / patch build and software deployment.
- Develop user stories, Test Cases, Unit Testing and technical
documentation.
*Required Skill Set**:*
- In depth knowledge with the .Net framework development (.Net 4.0, 3.5,
2.0, WPF, Windows Forms, WCF, ASP.Net).
- Proficiency in C#.net or ASP.net, C++, OOPS, COM, DCOM, ADO.NET, XML,
XML Schema, XSLT & SQL Server, UML diagrams.
- Good working knowledge of design patterns.
- Should be well versed with Data Structures & algorithms,
Multithreading and optimization techniques.
- Should have capabilities to develop the core modules/components and
manage small team if required and should have experience in one or more
complete life cycle modules.
- Should have working experience in multiple operating systems, Windows,
Unix and Linux/Solaris.
- Should have Database design and PL/SQL coding experience on Oracle.
- Good familiarity with TFS, CVS, Bugzilla, Per Force and etc.
- Good Understanding of software development lifecycle and exposure to
AGILE and SCRUM methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills and Excellent verbal and
written communication skills with Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Self-starter with excellent interpersonal, motivational, and
facilitation skills.
- Strong experience writing DDL, DML, and complex queries in Oracle SQL.
- Strong knowledge of best practices related to database design, data
integrity, and normalization.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Very Systematic and organized worker.
- Strong knowledge and use of development methodologies, standards and
procedures.
- Ability to multi-task and provide expertise for multiple development
teams across concurrent project tasks.
- Ability to provide technical guidance to junior team members and
consult with other application developers.
- In-depth experience with Windows servers and good knowledge of UNIX/
Linux operating systems.
- Ability to lead projects from requirements gathering through user
acceptance.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Experience with productivity tools including office packages, DB tools
etc.
- Experience in Documenting technical specifications.
- Provide metrics and project planning updates for the development effort.
- Programming skill in JAVA is definite advantage.
- Work experience with GIS, BINGMAPS will be desirable.
*Additional Qualification**:*
- Minimum Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science,
Information Systems or related technical field is desired with
grade/marks of more than 7/70%, from tier-1 or tier-2 universities.
- 4+ years of experience working with DOT NET in an application development.
- Microsoft certification on application development using DOTNET will
be an added advantage.
