Hi All, I have been using coshell since the beginning of this year for both Solaris and Linux platforms. So far I was able to distribute C++ compilation jobs to multiple remote machines without any issues.

But for some unknown reasons, only my coshell server can not open remote shell anymore even though my co-worker’s coshell works perfectly. I have bounced coshell server multiple times and removed all files in my home directory to have clean environment. But still coshell is not working for me.

I have noticed that coshell try to open connection to remote shell but some reason coshell can not start background ksh via ssh even though remote machine is up and running

coshell> o devyxsv001
coshell> ss
CON OPEN USERS UP CONNECT UPDATE OVERRIDE IDLE TEMP RANK HOST
6 1 0 1M16d 57m17s 0 0/1 0 71.68 4.47 devybld003
+ 0 0 1M16d 3.00s 57.00s 0/0 0 12.80 16.96 devyxsv001
coshell> ss
CON OPEN USERS UP CONNECT UPDATE OVERRIDE IDLE TEMP RANK HOST
6 1 0 1M16d 58m29s 0 0/1 0 71.68 4.47 devybld003
- 1 0 DOWN 1m15s 3m51s 0/0 0 12.80 30000.00 devyxsv001

devyxsv003{build}/u1/build=> /u1/build/dev/ext/ast-2008-11-04/arch/sol8.sun4/bin/ss
devybld003 up 1M16d, 0 users, idle %, load 0.00, %usr 0, %sys 0
devyxsv001 up 1M16d, 0 users, idle %, load 0.08, %usr 0, %sys 0

Anyone have any idea why only my coshell can not open remote ksh even though I have same environment like all other developers?

Thanks
Sang
