All,

I seem to be having an issue with nmake not properly recognizing regular
expression matches in HPUX 11.31. For a nmake statement of type
"missing.h :make: default=INSTALL_EXPORT", it fails to match the
statement and returns a "error 3 invalid right-hand side". Looking into
the rules, it is failing to match on the following regular expression,
"$(%0=2)" == "default?(\[+([0-9])\])=[A-Z]*([A-Za-z0-9_])".

Note that we do not have this issue on HPUX 11.00.

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.
