Sorry for the typo in the email, it is $(%:0=2) in the regular
expression match.   It is still a problem. 

Also for Glenn, Joe Buehler is my coworker and he mentioned to me say hi

it may not be an RE problem
"$(%0=2)" is probably malformed
did you mean "$(%:O=2)" (the second token in $(%)) ?
