Thanks for the info. and heads up on the CDR problem.
Yes, I agree that one minute rounding could become expensive.

I signed and configured Asterisk and it seems to work.
I haven't yet tried the call quality to India but while making some test calls, I noticed no Caller ID was being passed.

What is your experience with outgoing Caller ID from Asterisk?

BTW, so far support from Adella has been very good!

Thanks,

I have suggested Terracall to this group a long time ago as a SIP
    Service for Asterisk.

I have been using terracall for the past 1 year.

Their service is good and Adella Alamzan at [EMAIL PROTECTED]
    <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
is very responsive whenever we have issues.

The main issue I have with their service is that several times the
    calls,
Appear connected forever as per the CDR. So you may get CDR Entries
that shows that you have called Bombay for 120 minutes, whereas
    infact
you have only tried to call.

This is a problem with the freaking old Quintum/Cisco gatewas out
    there
on the Grey route termination end they are using.

But If you monitor such errors and inform Adella, you will get a
    credit.
    See the example below:

Subject: RE: RE: My card syas no balance, whereas I have $45 balance

    Seshu,
After investigation, we found that that the switch went through a
    reset
on the day of your call in question which can at times cause a
    call not
to hang up. I have credited your account by $13.63.
However, after continued research of your 1 minute call issues, these
were callback. Which means that there are two legs of the call and
since you answered the first leg of the call, you were correctly
charged. Even though the second leg did not answer, that is
    beyond our
control. With callbacks, you are accepting both charges. Credit had
been given in the past but no longer because of the reduced rates
    that
have been offered. The 55 cents credit will be left but note that you
will no longer receive credit for these calls. We suggest if this
    is a
common problem, that you make the destination number the FROM
    number so
that you don't run into this issue again.
Also, you must report within 24 hours as this allows us visibility to
the issue and allows us to find the problem quickly and fix. Anything
reported past this time cannot be guaranteed to be refunded.
    Regards,

    --adella

The other issue I have is that their rounding is 1 Minute.
This would turn expensive, if you want to resell their services.
