Please don't make comments like this without understand the actual situation; it only serves to confuse the issue.

Anyone can sell a distribution of OpenPBX, since the GPL gives them that right. Those distributions must be licensed under the GPL, though, which means all the GPL restrictions would be in place (source availability, no linking to non-GPL libraries, etc.).

Nobody can distribute a non-GPL licensed copy of the Asterisk source code or binaries made from it _except_ Digium without violating the GPL under which they received it.
