Maybe I am a victim of "profiling"? I had service for about 18 months. I think my average usage was only about 1200 minutes a month for the "unlimited" portion. I had some rather high bills for international usage and never requested any call credits. It could be that such a profile mandates a call from somebody that tries to save profitable accounts.
I had AT&T Callvantage service for several months. They had some serious technical and support issues. Every month I called to cancel and they gave me another free month.
