Asterisk 1.4 w/ Variable Length DTMF support should solve a lot of the DTMF interop problems that Asterisk has w/ other solutions. The RFC-2833 stuff will actually send proper length events. If a user presses a key for 1 second, you'll get a 1 second DTMF event.

Cool! I am waiting when 1.4 will come out.

PS: I prefer to use production ready versions.
