Dear Kristian, please save your insults for some other forum. I had only asked for software license + support (if possible). And my 2nd entry was an open question hoping for honest answer.
That's to Mr. Mitul Limbani response, I have an idea what's going on in the market from 'business' perspective. It seems the base system is able to support that number of users. Many companies just have their business models built around the # users that will use the system. But plenty of vendors exist out there whose SMB software will cost below $1000, which I guess would be our new price ceiling instead of $500. And we will of course continue to play with core asterisk and one day hope to go 100% free. We, in fact, are a PBX reseller. Your price range does seem to be far below what most people are charging for the level of functionality that you require. Yes, Asterisk is free. However, the whole industry that has sprung up around Asterisk has created tools to enhance the overall Asterisk experience, and some of these tools are quite good. These tools combined with Asterisk provide a level of functionality (and more) that 10 years ago would have cost > $30,000. Now you can get it for $5000. If you want something cheap or free, use Asterisk (like the rest of us) and spend your own time adding the features you require (web interface, operator panel, etc). Nobody is stopping you from doing that! The product you are looking for can't practically exist. The interface cards alone (tdm04b x2 = ~$700). At the price you are looking for, the supplier would be taking a loss just on the cards! What about the interface, machine to run it on, not to mention support! Unless UNICEF has gone into the PBX business, this isn't going to happen... If you can find anyone to provide the product you are looking for (for that price), start looking for an alternate means of support ASAP. There is no way they will be able to stay in business for very long. -- Kristian Kielhofner _______________________________________________ --Bandwidth and Colocation provided by Easynews.com -- asterisk-biz mailing list To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-biz _______________________________________________ --Bandwidth and Colocation provided by Easynews.com -- asterisk-biz mailing list To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-biz
