Not really looking for the T38 feature, we are currently using Sipura 2100's and they do a fine job overall for faxing. We also are upfront with our clients and try to evaluate their needs in the faxing department so that they get the best overall solution possible. Fax + VoIP = < 100% reliability, The Sipuras are close, but they aren't 100%. If it is better for a client to leave in 1 POTS line to handle his faxes then that is a good fit for everyone.
I was looking in general for a low cost 1 FXS LAN/WAN ATA and they have what looks to be a good candidate, so I wanted to know if they had a domestic outlet here or if, as usually, I have to talk to someone 13,000 miles and 12 hours away from me. There are a number of ata's that support it, but I have yet to hear from a service provider customer that any of the ata's that support T.38 faxing, do it with any sort of consistency or reliability. Other ATA's that have it: Linksys Grandstream Allied Telesyn Cisco audiocodes Lots of ATA's have it on the box, but don't really support it, others have it but it's complete crap Zoa.
