I have a number that was ported to Vonage about 7 months ago. Well the
CFO of my company did anyway. With the present Vonage situation he would
like to port that number away from Vonage. Is there a place, other than
a carrier, to park a number ? He has had this number for may years and
would like to hold on to it.
I know I could port it to any number of carriers but don't want to move
it to someone I don't know will be in business tomorrow. BTW, what
happens to the numbers a carrier has when they vanish ? I would imagine
it's a pain recovering those number from a customer point of view.
Any advice would be helpful.
