My client has a 31 page fax that they need to continually send out. Have you
sent faxes this large at any frequency?

I have not had any problems with that setup.
I have used an HP Photosmart C6180, an old Panasonic and several Brother fax
machines that I don't have an exact model for.
The T.38 termination was provided by Gafachi.
