I've been doing a little work with the Linksys PAP2, firmware 3.1.5(LS), but have not been able to get it to pass caller if to analog phones or perform properly with the flash key.
I understand why the caller id does not pass as the analog phones expect a CID data burst as what comes in from Telco and the PAP does not do this but no matter what I do the flash timing fails. Have you worked with this model? Should I forget it and go to the spa2102 for total success? Has the spa2102 passed caller id to analog phones for you? It works good for me and has a lot of settings for tuning. The main drawback - is a lack of solid documentation. For 1-4 fxs ports i use spa2102, for 5-16 fxs ports - spa8000 and for more then 16 fxs ports i prefer to use Quintum AX. > _______________________________________________ > --Bandwidth and Colocation Provided by http://www.api-digital.com-- > > AstriCon 2008 - September 22 - 25 Phoenix, Arizona > Register Now: http://www.astricon.net > > asterisk-biz mailing list > To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: > http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-biz > _______________________________________________ --Bandwidth and Colocation Provided by http://www.api-digital.com-- AstriCon 2008 - September 22 - 25 Phoenix, Arizona Register Now: http://www.astricon.net asterisk-biz mailing list To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-biz _______________________________________________ --Bandwidth and Colocation Provided by http://www.api-digital.com-- AstriCon 2008 - September 22 - 25 Phoenix, Arizona Register Now: http://www.astricon.net asterisk-biz mailing list To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-biz
