Like Bret said, I think the 1800's just get re-flashed. I don't have the 52mhz clock, but I see there are people on the openbts list selling them, perhaps - I haven't had much time to pay attention, hence the sale... I never got this working - I just opened the box. Time is at a premium these days, and despite my intense interest in seeing this stuff work, I just know I'm not going to be able to get it done with all the other things on the plate. I really wanted to make an all-in-one cell repeater that I could drag with me wherever I happened to go that was out of standard GSM range but had Internet access (which is surprisingly quite often.) Using trivial Asterisk tricks, this would allow me to continue using my phone seamlessly as long as I was within a few feet of the USRP. Of course, this probably would be classified as rule-breaking due to usage of GSM frequencies, so I would not suggest anyone use, configure, think about, or even LOOK at a USRP. Turn away. NOW. Go on. Why are you still reading this?
