Does anyone have any examples of a real case where Asterisk was used as an IVR for a simple business? I need an idea for something simple and small that could be used for a project. My project is Dial a Mechanic. Users dial and enter zip code and then get routed to participating mechanics. Would that work? Please send other ideas that I can turn into small business!
I don't recommend setting up self-hosted infrastructure for this, at least if telephony is not the primary vertical. Seems like you'd be better off using the services of Ibyphone, or perhaps Twilio or something from that genre.
