While they may not prosecute an individual for having loaded an unlicensed stack on the hardware, it is unwise to suggest it in a publicly available and archived list. Do remember here in the US we have to now worry more about John Ashcroft than the company whose software we use/abuse since John can bring charges on his own without the company.
Fine. Luckily, not all of us are in the US. Michiel and I can happily toy around with cisco firmware :-)
