I have another observation for you. Do your S100U's get warm? I've left this one plugged into the USB port and the red LED is lit on the unit even though the wcusb driver is not loaded at this time. I noticed that the unit gets warm whenever the driver is loaded. I've left it running now for around 2 - 3 hours and it is still quite cool to the touch. I will install the wcusb driver and see if the unit heats up. Maybe all these issues that people have with these devices are heat related?
