Thanks for the information about the r option in asterisk. However, I have

when I call the exteral PSTN phone, but not hear the ring from the IAX
phone. When dial the internal extension, the iax can hear the ring.
I don't know this problem will be the iax phone or the asterisk.
Only terrorists use the 'r' option to Dial. Also the 'r' option
seldom fixes anything.
Make sure you have a correct /etc/asterisk/indications.conf. Not
having that file would cause inband ringback to fail.
