No. The only codecs that you will negotiate will be ulaw, alaw, and gsm, as specified in your config. 'show codecs' is informational only. It indicates nada, nothing, zip, zilch (get the idea?) about your configuration. Asterisk will use whatever codec is available on both sides, followed preferentially by the codec which has the least cost to translate.
