Any company. There is no typical company in my experience. I have worked with non-profits, political campaigns, magazine publishers, telemarketing call center companies, medical supplies companies and logistics companies just to name a few.
They all installed Asterisk to have a non-expensive open phone system that they could control and manage internally. They range in size from just a few phones to over 300 across multiple locations. I believe Digium even has a list of a few case studies, including some government entities that are using Asterisk. MATT--- On 7/20/06, Douglas Garstang <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
I'm wondering what types of companies are most likely to be implementing Asterisk? These occur to me: CLEC's, and small rural telephone companies. ISP's wishing to provide voice services.
