Nah, that would be dull.

In some ways the mac intel is nearer to a 'normal PC'
(whatever that is) than the systems I normally run asterisk on
- a NatSemi Nemiah and an arm5 :-)

Asterisk 1.2.X runs fine on the intel macs, so
I guess there must be a bug in 1.4beta2 that stops it running.

Did you need to update the version of Make? My PowerPC mac seems to be complaining about version 3.80.

I don't have any Intel mac's to test with (yet).
