[asterisk-users] Regular audio fade-out fade-in on IAX2 calls Asterisk 1.2.4 Hi all, One of my users has a problem with many of his calls via my Asteri sk™ server. He describes the problem as having the sound slowly fade out and then fade back at a regular fr equency. Has anyone experienced this before? Can y ou suggest a potential cause? The client is an IAX2 s oft phone running on Windows XP. Asterisk version is 1.2.4. Codec is G.711-ulaw. The user is conn ecting from long distance away (from client phone in N ew Zealand to Asterisk™ server in Australia). We 've confirmed that roundtrip times are fairly consiste nt and that the user's PC is in good working order. Would appreciate any advice. Thanks. -- Lucas
