Actually, there is little point in extending this particular timeout. If the far end doesn't acknowledge the seize within second, it almost certainly isn't going to. There is a problem somewhere.
If you put loglevel=255 at the beginning of your unicall.conf file, you should get much more detailed logs, that might provide a clue as to what goes wrong.
