Hi, To summurize, it seems that one thing preventing people from upgrading is the lack of an upgrading tool : somehow, it should be possible and easy to : - install 2 different versions of Asterisk on the same hardware, - interactively "translate" config files from one version to another - load balance between them.
The lack of incentive to move is another problem that should be kept apart from ease of upgrading. And a third type of issue is that some features are missing in 1.4 version. Regards
