shame on me...yes i had several different installations of asterisk, just to try it out. but i deleted everything before i went on installing a different version or vendor. so, make samples did the trick! i now have the missing files. thx (i didnt do it before coz somehow samples + freepbx) screwd my setup and nothing was working at the end)(thats as well the reason why i asked what u guys use as a gui)
