Shaun,

After removing everything in modprobe.conf that was ztcfg related:
alias eth0 tg3
alias eth1 tg3
alias scsi_hostadapter ata_piix
alias usb-controller ehci-hcd
alias usb-controller1 uhci-hcd

and rebooting it still happens. same error. is there another place I 
need to edit?
