I've read that defaultip can only be used on type=peer and when host=dynamic.
I use type=friend.
host=IP seems to be OK for me.
I actually tried this option some time ago but had trouble with something I
can't recall right now so reverted to "dynamic".
I guess I'll have to give it another shot.
I'll try that before migrating to realtime...
