In iax.conf on "home_server" I have:
register => home_server:[email protected]

On a "clinic_server" I DO NOT have any "register" entry.
Do I have to register "clinic_server" to "home_server? I was under impression one way regstration is enough. "Home_server" is aready registered to "clinic_server.

They are "connected" but not registered. The "iax2 show registry" on
home_server should show both peers.

I think that part is working correctly I see boths asterisk are connected

on "home_server":
syscon7*CLI> iax2 show registry
Host dnsmgr Username Perceived Refresh
State
192.168.141.1:4569 N home_serve 192.168.141.8:4569 60
Registered

syscon7*CLI> iax2 show peers
Name/Username Host Mask Port Status

clinic_server (null) (D) 255.255.255.255 0

on "clinic_server":
clinic-amd*CLI> iax2 show peers
Name/Username Host Mask Port Status

home_server (null) (D) 255.255.255.255 0

The two Asterisk boxes have to register to each other so home server
and clinic have to be on the peers list on both sides (or at min on one
side) and you must see the IP. Make sure you are resolving the names
correctly and that Asterisk is set-up to resolv DNS names or use the IP
instead.
