I've successfully installed Asterisk and have Microsoft's Instant
Messenger connecting. We can make VoIP calls between clients without a
problem, however we cannot send text instant messages between clients.From what I can tell this should be possible using IETF SIMPLE or RFC 3428(SIP Message Extension). I can't find any reference to this and asterisk.
Is it supported?No.
